The allegations basically destroyed his career before he was even charged. You don't want this to happen to you. Sexual Misconduct Allegations Against Virginia Doctor
In September of 2023, the Lynchburg Commonwealth's Attorney reported that it was investigating three counts of sexual misconduct against a local gynecologist. The doctor resigned from his position before the claims went viral on social media, and his employer released a statement severing all ties with the doctor. A month later, the Commonwealth Attorney's Office announced they would not bring criminal charges against the doctor after failing to find sufficient evidence to proceed with the criminal investigation.
Concerning the allegations, the doctor's law firm stated that a female nurse was present for 100% of the patient interactions, and all of his nurses “consistently denied any allegation of misconduct.” The firm also spoke out about the investigation of the allegations by the Virginia Board of Medicine:
On September 19, 2023, the Virginia Board of Medicine wrote to Dr. Dabney to confirm that it has “completed its review of an investigative report regarding [Dr. Dabney's] standard of care concerning a patient” and is “end[ing] its inquiry at this time.” The determination letter confirms that the Board of Medicine's investigation and disposition are “not a disciplinary action.”
