Police Sting Leads to Criminal Charges Against Arizona Dentist
When a licensed medical professional, such as a doctor, dentist, or nurse, is arrested or charged with a crime, their license may be in jeopardy. The state licensing boards that govern the issuance of medical-related professional licenses are often eager to suspend or restrict a license based on accusations, arrests, or indictments. Although the criminal law system views the accused as innocent until proven guilty, such deference is rarely available in professional licensing disciplinary matters.
Criminal arrests and charges, particularly those involving the exploitation of children, can quickly undermine every aspect of your life, including your professional license and career. Any license holder accused of a crime must take immediate action to defend themselves, their license, and their livelihood.
If you have been arrested or are accused of a crime, a professional license investigation or hearing will likely follow. Don’t ignore the possibility of a professional license disciplinary inquiry. Instead, take critical steps to protect yourself and defend your license, including contacting the LLF National Law Firm.

Arizona Dentist Faces Multiple Criminal Charges After Undercover Police Sting
Fox 10, a television station in Phoenix, Arizona, has reported that dentist Dr. Logan Edward Cornwell was arrested and charged with luring a minor.
According to Fox 10, Cornwell made contact online with an undercover police officer posing as a 16-year-old boy. The dentist offered to pay the officer, who he believed was a teenager, to meet. The police arrested Cornwell, and he was charged with luring a child. After pleading not guilty, Cornwell posted bail and was released.
Later, after police served a search warrant at his home and reportedly found videos of naked children, Cornwell was taken back into custody. Cornwell, now facing additional counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, was denied bond and remains jailed.
As the criminal case against Cornwell proceeds, the Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners has suspended Cornwell’s dentistry license.
