Nichelle L. Womble Esq., currently a licensed attorney in the state of Florida, graduated Summa Cum Laude from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law in Fort Lauderdale Florida and a mother of twin 8-year-old boys. She is a currently an Attorney/Law Clerk with Counsel on American Islamic Relations office in Philadelphia where she has spent the last couple of years devoting her time helping to fight the battle of social justice and equality under the direction of Staff Attorney Timothy Welbeck. Ms. Womble is responsible for case preparation, client interviews, prisoner correspondence, and much more. She is also interned with the Illinois Prison Project out of Chicago which focuses on Commutations/Clemency Petitions for unfairly incarcerated individuals From Aug 2020-Aug 2021.  Ms. Womble has a long list of academic accomplishments including a Cali book award for her Women's & Children's rights class during the Spring 2020 semester while attending St. Thomas University School of Law and Criminal Procedure Fall 2021 while attending Nova. Ms. Womble was inducted into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi in 2020 for ranking in the top 5 of her 3L class. She is also a member of Phi Alpha Delta Society of Scholars. She served as the Director of Communications for National BLSA, Director of Administration for the National Bar Association Law Student Division, a member of the criminal law society, family law society, Phi Alpha Delta, black law student association, and the sports and entertainment law society. Ms. Womble also served as a senior editor of the Southern Journal of Policy and Justice, Vol. XV  and a past Law Fellow for Lawyers of Color. Ms. Womble has also had the pleasure of being published; The Birth of a Monster was published in the St. Thomas University School of Law Volume 33 Law Review, and her Essay titled HOW FALSE ACCUSATIONS OF RAPE AND DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AFFECT THE LIVES OF BLACK MALE ATHLETES: ANALYSIS OF A FLAWED TITLE IX, Published in the Florida Entertainment and Sports Law Review's Inaugural Issue.

Prior to attending law school Ms. Womble obtained her Masters in Education in Sports Management from University of Miami in 2017. Aside from her diverse educational background Ms. Womble also has a diverse employment background as well. In her free time Ms. Womble devotes her time to her family and love of sports. In 2016 Ms. Womble began an internship with the Orlando Waves before being promoted in 2017 to Director of Operations. She previously worked for Baseline Sports Inc. beginning in 2016 where she held multiple positions, executive administrative assistant before bring promoted after 9 months to Executive director of the Women's division, certified sports agent, and Chief Operations officer until her departure in 2018. Though she has departed from the sports agency she has continued to represent some athletes on a part-time basis. Her duties included sponsorships, client representation, contract negotiation, database management, staff training, basketball camp/tryout logistics, travel , and much more as a licensed FIBA agent. She is currently the General Manager and General Counsel for the Tampa Bay Panthers a Semi Professional Women's Basketball Team that is a part of the Women's aba (WABA) and Deputy League Commissioner for Women's International Basketball Association, a new women's basketball league hoping to kick off in the next few months.
